Competitions
For those who thrive in rugged, real-world environments, the NRL Hunter competitions are as close to field deployment as it gets. Events like the Leupold Relentless Rifleman and NRL Hunter Games combine physical endurance, time-pressure, and minimal gear to test a shooter’s ability to locate, range, and engage targets with precision.
Our PRS matches are known to be straight forward, no gimmicks, and high-level competition. Events such as West Coast Redemption, Northwest Regional Matches, and Moons Out Goons Out suppressed night matches attract some of the best shooters around.
The Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) matches integrate semi-automatic platforms into a mid range / long distance environment. Designed with commercial rifles and ammunition in mind so anyone with an AR and a few boxes of ammo can come compete / train. Expect to encounter stress induced stages with target engagements ranging from 25y-600y.
Our Sniper Team Competitions are designed for Military and Law Enforcement professionals, while remaining open to Civilians seeking the ultimate challenge. Competitors will be tested on precision shooting, fieldcraft, medical scenarios, and physically demanding stages with time-based movements between stages. Designed to replicate the physical and mental demands of real-world operations, our Sniper Team Competitions reward those who can perform at the highest level when every second counts.
The foundation of GBPR lies within our club matches. Monthly Prone/Bench precision rifle matches held on the first Saturday from April through October. Designed to help both beginner and experienced shooters become familiar with their equipment and refine skills such as range estimation, wind reading, long-range accuracy, target engagement, communication and teamwork. These events focus on long-range shooting (1,000–1,760 yards, ~15-20 rounds, calibers up to .338 Lapua) and mid-range shooting (200–1,100 yards, ~70-80 rounds, up to .300 Win Mag).
